ICCM's Christmas in the City Magazine was distributed to 70,000 households in Inverness, Moray and Grampian.  The magazine was also a free supplement included as part of the Inverness Courier.  The magazine promotes festive events, shopping and dining available in Inverness City Centre.

The crime rate in Inverness City Centre has plummeted since the initiation of safeinverness, according to police figures released yesterday. Housebreaking is down 84.3%, car crime down 60%, shoplifting down 51.9%, serious and violent crime down 41.6% and vandalism down 21.5%.

'Summer in the City' 2006 Marketing & Event campaign was 'Highly Commended' in the 'Enhancing the Retail Offer' Category at Scotlands Annual Town Centre Management Awards held in Edinburgh. Winners of the category were Edinburgh City Centre Management for the 2006 International Fashion Festival.

Inverness City Centre has been awarded the Scottish Business Crime Centre's 'SAFER SHOPPING AWARD'.

Safeinverness applied for this award earlier this year and are delighted to have been successful.
