Inverness City Centre Pubwatch launched.  The scheme will be run by the licensees and they will use the structure and protocols of safeinverness to move it forward.

safeinverness supported the Highland Drug and Alcohol Forum's Drink Safe Think Safe campaign and supported the production of business cards with taxi numbers on them to be handed out to people leaving pubs and clubs.

November 05  

A new licensing legislation was put in place which meant that all businesses operating after 11pm were required to become safeinverness and radiolink members. All evening economy will be required to have radios to communicate with other businesses and the Northern Constabulary.

Point of sale stickers with safeinverness branding were distributed to all safeinverness members to display in their business.  The stickers highlight to customers information sharing on crime is taking place, providing contact details should they need to report a crime.  The stickers also act as a warning to potential shoplifters.
